Ergonomically designed 3-point elasticated breastplate for the best in comfort and safety when jumping. 3-point breast plates have shown to maintain better freedom of movement than a 5-point breastplate whilst jumping.

  • Maximum adjustment possibilities on the sides of the neck, underbelly and detachable martingale attachment 
  • Extra removable safety strap that clips across the withers  
  • Top clips attach to d-rings of the saddle, optional attachments for the stirrup bars are included giving you a safer, more secure attachment point without damaging the saddle

Pony

D-ring to centre of chest = 68cm

Centre of chest to girth = 62cm

Small horse 

D-ring to centre of chest = 72cm

Centre of chest to girth = 70cm  

Standard horse 

D-ring to centre of chest = 74cm

Centre of chest to girth = 72cm  

Large Horse 

D-ring to centre of chest = 83cm

Centre of chest to girth = 78cm 

The D-ring to centre of chest has approximately 15cm adjustment and centre of chest to girth has approximately 10cm adjustment

An amazing product! The leather and elastic is such high quality. Sometimes I worry if elastic is too stretchy but not in this case. Very adjustable, fits great and easy to put on. As you can see, it keeps everything in place when jumping, even when they throw a bigger shape and the monkey strap addition is perfect for added safety.

Only thing I don’t like are the clips to attach to the D’s as they are awkward to clip on. Had to replace with a swivel dog clip.

Couldn’t recommend Leader equine more highly. I purchased the incorrect sized breastplates online and wasn’t organised enough to send them back within the 30 day returns policy. I contacted them and they very kindly allowed me to return and swap 2 breastplates and the communication during this time was excellent.
