I’m a standard size 12 in jeans. Not in these pants. Had to return the 12 and get the 14. Hips and top of thighs too tight. The return was easy enough, just cost more postage. The pants are definitely waterproof, been tested in the winter rains. There’s a lining which is thinner than I anticipated, but enough to stop them feeling cold on the legs or sticking like waterproof usually does. The bigger size thing has meant I can get my jods underneath them, which has been helpful when getting ready to ride, albeit they are then quite tight on the hips. I’m quite curvy these days (read fat in thighs, bum, waist), not the straight up and down fit type (anymore). So I would recommend, if you have curves go up a size. If you’re slim, straight up and down, you should be fine in your usual size.

Designed to be worn as they are, these trousers are both functional and versatile for all day wear in cooler weather. If you wish to wear them over leggings they will just be a slightly firmer fit so do take that in to consideration.
Size 6 - XXS, 8 - XS, 10 - Small, 12 - Medium, 14 - Large, 16 - XL and 18 - XXL.

I'm a straight up and down kind of shape, and maybe a bit older than some so my middle is never going to be what it was 20 years ago. I have the size 10, they fit well, comfortable on my midsection, not going to dig in, look good on the legs unlike some waterproofs. I like that i can wear them on their own and i can still get them over my tights or breeches for extra warmth. Also was fixing a waterpipe and managed to have said pipe open directly on me but i was kept dry!

Pants fit well, would prefer them to be a bit more high waisted though with more stretch in the waistband for flexibility as they feel very low down when I'm riding and I have to make sure I'm wearing a long top so I don't get a cold builder's bum!

Lovely pants but the sizing was way off and they only just do up. The XL is about the same as a small size 14 so beware if you’re a little larger. Would love an elastic panel at the back and some genuinely larger sizes. The pants themselves are lovely and well made but I can’t wear them due to the sizing
