- Description
A stripped high function-bridle with a flat, simple noseband that has a completely removable flash strap discretely decorated with a PS badge. The hooks of which the bit attaches to have a transparent rubber cover in order to minimize the rattling that may occur between the metal. This is the perfect bridle for riders who often changes the bit since the simplicity of the hooks makes the bit-changing process very simple and efficient.
The headpiece has an air gap over the highest part of the neck, to give maximum freedom for the sensitive nerve tracks, muscle attachments, and ligaments that all attach at the neck. It has also got built up, softly padded edges with an anatomical, oval shape around the ears.
The browband has our new, convex PS-button with an extra sturdy clasp that keeps the browband in place and shapes the leather backward and down.
Preferably used together with the matching reins with hooks.
Throatlatch sold separately.

MATERIAL & CARE
Spanish, vegetable-tanned leather.
Each bridle is a handmade unique piece.
We recommend the bridle to be treated with oil prior to the first use in order to protect and maintain the high quality of the leather.
Leather is a natural product that develops over time and may darken slightly when oiled.
How to fit your bridle:
- Look at the PS size guide prior to your purchase.
- Put the bridle on your horse. Keep all hang tags on the bridle.
- If the bridle fits well then you can remove the hang tags, treat the bridle with oil, and then start using it.
- If the bridle doesn't fit and you need to change the size, do not remove the hang tags and do not oil the leather, download our Returns Request form form the footer to fill in and send back to us to make the exchange (you may wish to purchase the size you want immediately to avoid missing out, we can refund the other when returned in as new condition with packaging intact).

Size Guide
This size guide is just that, a guide! There will be some individuality depending on breed/type and build. If your horse measures 195cm we would suggest taking the 6’6 because you are very close to being that size, however if your horse is super narrow build you might find when you get it that you are better with the size down. Likewise if your horse measures 185cm, we would suggest sticking with 6’0 as you are only just over that size and the LE Boxter Turnouts have some room and flexibility in the chest due to their Field Safe front closure and Boxter Dart.
Key Points for Fitting your Leader Equine horse rugs:
- Is your tailcord a hands width from the back of the hamstring? If your tail cord is pulled straight across, it may be too short and not allow enough room when grazing, however if it is hanging so that there is a significant loop/smile in the cord then it’s too long. Aim for a hands width space between the hamstring and the cord and when it’s just hanging it should be barely a ‘smile’. You can shorten the tailord supplied with your Boxter Turnout by popping off the end clip and feeding through the strap to trim to desired length. If in doubt send us an email!
- Is the binding of your tail flap joining to the rug sitting at the top of the dock? You don’t want this piece of binding sitting up on the rump but you don’t want it hanging down the tail, so as close to the top of the tail is ideal.
- Are your cross surcingles under the belly done up so that there is just a hands width between the belly and the straps? More than a hands width can lead to the rug moving, these surcingles are designed to help your rug self-correct when your horse rolls particularly enthusiastically! Too short and the belly will not have enough room to expand when lying down or rolling.

-
Take a soft measuring tape
- Measure from the centre point of the chest (A), around the point of the shoulder, along the body, around the back leg to the centre of the tail (B)
- Take 10cm off the measurement you got.
- Check where this new number puts you under A to B on the table below
- If your horse is in between two sizes, we usually suggest going with the bigger size.
