The LE performance dressage saddle pad with shims fits my little guy perfectly. The shims have lifted the back of the saddle, solving my problem. Love it!
The length is perfect for under my Bates Stock saddle, the padding and shim pockets have allowed a better fit of the saddle, and her favourite girth fits again! As for the pomegranate colour...gorgeous!

Love this saddle pad!! I've spend literally hundreds of dollars trying to find a dressage pad with shim pockets that both isn't too long, and doesn't slip on my short backed connemara.. I finally found it!! Can't wait to order a white one ready for dressage competitions 👏
I used my pad for the first time at a working equitation clinic. It fit the saddle well and I was able to play around with the shims to adjust the balance of the saddle to help me get my legs in a better position. Obviously still some work to do on that though. :)
Delivery very prompt
I was lucky enough that a friend won me 2 of these pads in a recent give away! My horse absolutely loves the pad! I love being able to shim the pad in between saddle fits. So well made, a great pad at a great price!! I liked that the Velcro doesn’t go the whole way across the pocket making it much easier to get the shims in and out of the pad. Please bring it out in grey and black :)
So happy with my purchase of the leader equine saddle blanket. Prompt delivery and amazing quality. Best part about it is the shim pockets. Can easily remove or add a shim without the hassle of trying to place them correctly under the saddle or in a seperate pad. Less bulk and doesn't change the fit of your saddle. Except where you need it. Highly recommend.

Beautiful quality pad! Absolutely love this, great for the arena & also perfect for those casual trail rides. Fits our short backed gelding beautifully, the fleece underside is super soft 😍 & with the added bonus of being shim-able it’s perfect to have when your horse changes in condition due to the seasons, something other dressage pads don’t have which is fantastic!

Was lucky enough to win one of these and I’m blown away with the quality and fit. It simplifies getting ready with it being a saddle pad and sheepskin half pad in one making it one less thing to remember to grab from the tack room everyday!

Perfect fit and looks good
Good quality fleece and shims, but I found the fleece was so soft it would slip on my horses back. I also found the sizing was too large.

Store owner replied: Hi Sunny, thanks for your review. I wanted to help with a couple of points you've raised. If the pad is moving on your horse you may need to look at what way the shims are set up in the saddle pad and if they are balanced with the balance of your saddle. It may be that the saddle is not quite fitting your horse at the moment. Pads can move when the saddle fit isn't quite right or a change has occurred in the horse's growth or development. Just something to think about, it's something we came across in development when testing the pads with various riders and saddle fitters, when a pad moved it was confirmed by the fitter that the saddle required a change and when it was corrected, no movement of the pad thereafter. In terms of sizing, I saw you got the size large, we do offer small and medium sizes with a size guide, of course sometimes there may be a personal preference to how you want it to fit. In general we have not found the size large to be too big but it does have to work with up to 18in saddles. There are some 17in saddles with shorter panel lengths that can go on either a medium or a large pad. Hope this helps and perhaps you'll know someone in your community who can make use of the pad if it's not for you :) if we can help with anything at all in the future please don't hesitate to contact us. I have a sensitive thin skinned thoroughbred and this has made such a difference to him when riding. Highly recommend if you have a sensitive horse when you get on them
