The LE Fieldsafe Universal Cotton Sheet epitomises elegant and luxurious in a 230gsm  polycotton sheet that is a must-have for any horse owner seeking optimal comfort and protection in a sheet with a multitude of uses.  
With a premium blend of polycotton, this sheet offers excellent breathability and moisture-wicking properties, ensuring your horse stays cool and dry even on the warm days. Its lightweight design promotes airflow, while its UV-resistant fabric shields your horse's coat from harmful sun rays. Additionally, the sheet's closed-weave construction provides effective protection against pesky insects.  All combined, this sheet allows your horse to relax in peace, comfort and safety whether that is in the stable, while travelling, or in the paddock, whether they are grazing, eating from haynets or otherwise.

Using our unique design-protected feature front closure, the Field Safe Front, we ensure a comfortable fit without restricting movement and adding peace of mind in situations that standard clips may catch on.  

We finish off with the inclusion of a detachable neck cover, a generous tail flap that includes a nylon strap to slide the tail through in windy conditions, adjustable nylon tailcord so you can fit to your desired length (ideally not much more than a hands width from hamstring), no leg straps required, and we've added reflective strips for visibility at night whether in the paddock or in yards at a competition!

Please note we didn't design this rug to be used under top rugs.

  • 230gsm 40% cotton/60% polyester mix - higher cotton content improves breathability but will reduce strength.

  • Mane, Shoulder and Tail satin lining to reduce and prevent friction
  • Design-protected Boxter Dart for freedom of the shoulders
  • Triple Surcingles - cross the two outer angled straps and bring the middle one straight across.
  • Adjustable Nylon Tailcord (no leg straps required) with double rings to attach to for additional security.
  • We did not design this sheet to use under top rugs/turnouts, please bear that in mind.

 

Wash maximum 30 degrees on a delicate or cotton cycle with a mild detergent with dark colours. Do not tumble dry. Line dry in the shade to prolong life. Store loosely folded in a dark, dry area.

The fit is perfect. No rubbing or pulling. I’m very impressed with the field safe closure at the front. The material is lovely and soft and light. The colour is great too as it doesn’t show the dirt as much as a white rug, though I'm thinking about purchasing another one in white for the very hot days.
