A much wanted new addition to the feature-packed Boxter turnout range! For those of us with less cold weather, or horses that don't feel the cold as much, now we have the Boxter 0g with a half fleece fixed inner lining covering the withers to tail and halfway down the body for that bit of extra warmth, the fleece is short-pile and fixed in place for security and longevity, and it gives the ability to handle fluctuations in temperature. You still have a waterproof rating of 10,000mm for incredible protection.

Moisture wicking capabilities of the fleece mean you can turn your horse out when they're still damp however please ensure you have completed a full cool-down and utilised an appropriate cooler rug to do the main drying off first. Rug to the conditions that work for your horse.

Boxter turnouts and the LE rugs in general will often measure slightly shorter compared to some other brands due to our fixed in place front closures. However, they do measure close to their labelled size, some brands will add in more fabric or length to allow for the chest to be widened out. This means that quite often you may need a size up from your usual brand when choosing an LE rug. 

The most accurate estimate is to measure your horse from centre point of the chest, around the shoulder, along the body, around the hamstring to the centre of their tail and then take off 10cm. With the figure you're left with, check where it falls in our size guide chart. We usually recommend taking the bigger size if measuring in between two sizes unless you have a very narrow built horse. If in doubt please contact us to discuss sizing but equally no problem to exchange, please just keep it clean with tags on.
