Description

The Horseware® LED Red Light Therapy Pad is ideal for large areas such as the back, SI (sacroiliac), neck, shoulders, withers, or hindquarters. Its 320 LEDs use a combination of different light wavelengths to target both the dermal layer and deep tissues. 660nm red light targets the surface, while 850nm infrared light penetrates deeper to reach soft tissue.

Flexible, sturdy neoprene outer. Built-in battery with USB charger for easy, cord-free use. Two removable elasticated bands with velcro closure for adjustability and secure fit. Features 15 minute timer and pulse function.

Measurements - the pad itself is 55cm in length and 48cm in width. The straps are generous and allow for fitting onto both smaller and larger equines in various areas of treatment.

Materials & Care

Inside: Perforated neoprene that exposes the LED pixels.

Outside: Hook receptive neoprene to which the straps can attach.

Clean instructions

We recommend to gently brush or wipe clean with a cloth only.
DO NOT submerge LED product into water, it can risk damaging the USBC port.
If dirt has built up on the LED pixels. We recommend using a bit of rubbing alcohol. Please dip a cloth into the rubbing alcohol and clean just the LED pixel itself of any dirt and debris.

Storage instructions

Lay flat or gently roll as originally packaged. DO NOT fold the red-light therapy device as it may cause led diode(s) to disconnect from its power source. Proper storage is required to maintain the warranty of the product.
Store in a cool, dry place away from any moisture or damp areas, avoiding excessive heat and UV exposure.

Key Information

LED product to be charged for 5 hours.

Do not leave any LED product uncharged for longer than 6 weeks.

Make sure the horse is not wet when using this product. This will reduce the chance of any water getting into the charge ports or LED pixels.

Do not use directly over an open wound.

Do not use the LED product if it has any kind of visual damage to the product.

Do not shine LED light directly into the eyes. It can risk to hurt/damage the eye(s).

LED product need to be disposed of in a recycling facility.

I bought one to use on my horse, Ollie, after noticing stiffness in his hindquarters post-hoof abscess and he enjoys every session. Everyone in my family has been using it though, including my husband and I and our dog, Yuki 😊 It is easy to use, has fantastic straps to secure if needed. Great, long battery life and is handy for any area of the body.
