Calphormin contains the nutrients necessary for the normal development and growth of bones, cartilage and connective tissue.

For young horses, particularly those that are stabled regularly or being prepped for sales, Calphormin can help to strengthen bones that are not getting the exercise from trotting and cantering in the paddocks.

It is recommended by Frances Relihan, Farm Manager for Haras Don Alberto (formerly Vinery), Kentucky. Frances says "As Farm Manager, attention to detail is vitally important when it comes to raising future stars. I have used Calphormin for many years as part of my program when managing the growth and development of young thoroughbreds. American Pharoah, like all weanlings and yearlings under my care, was supplemented with Calphormin during his time at Vinery."

Add Calphormin to the normal feed ration

  • Mare in Foal ( Months 9,10,11 ): 120 g per day
  • Lactating Mares: 120g per day
  • Weanlings ( 6-12 Months ): 60g per day
  • Yearlings/ Two Year Old: 60g per day
