Designed for superior visibility, incredible eye clearance and protection around the eyes, and of course the utmost comfort for your horse to wear daily. The LE Outback Fly Mask will become your horse's go-to fly veil for fly protection.
Utilising a fine mesh designed for protection even against mosquitoes, and with 60% UV protection, the Outback allows supreme visibility while helping prevent flies and biting insects landing on your horse's face and eyes.
Beautifully lightweight, with a flexible mesh and airmesh build that upholds the structure to help prevent the mesh being pushed in to the horse's eyes. Soft and comfortable fleece edging in all the right places to ensure this is one fly mask your horse will enjoy wearing.
Small - for large ponies with broad faces, as a rough guide 13.3hh to 14.3hh. Or very fine 15hh.
Medium - for small horses, cob types, as a rough guide 15hh-15.3hh, or also taller horses with fine heads.
Large - for horses that typically wear full size or are on the larger side of full size. Or very broad-faced horses that are under 16hh.
All measurements are taken in centimetres. Please measure your horse prior to purchasing to decide which size is most suitable.If you are unsure which size to purchase don’t hesitate to reach out!
Wash in max 30 degrees, with a gentle detergent or wool wash, drip dry in the shade and re-shape while damp. Take care to close velcro straps when not in use and when in wash as airmesh while perfect for the purposes of a comfortable close fit with excellent breathability, is susceptible to being caught by the velcro and getting a little scruffy (which can be tidied up with a razor or pumice stone if it occurs).

My boy Royal developed what is called UV sensitivity which can be serious if not treated property. After many discussions with my vet and expensive treatment, I found that your fly mask was worth a try. I would like it a little darker however I like the peak/cap part of the mask. He seems to be keeping it on in the paddock and he is in a very large paddock of approx 3 acres each day and in at night.
We call it the Bee Keeper. Such a great fly mask. Stays away from the eyes. His eyes have never looked better in summer!

This is the first fly veil that fits over the winkers of my harness horse’s bridle without pushing on the winkers. And this is huge!! My horse can be a monster when it comes to either halters or fly veils, rubbing them off, but the cloth between the ears and the trim, made it comfortable for him. At first I thought it was expensive, but now believe it’s good value for the money.
Love these boots. They match perfectly with the fly mask and after trying so many other brands, these have been the absolute best by far! Will be ordering another set.

Disappointed, the front collapse on one side , as you can see from the pics the grass seeds got stuck in the soft fabric. The Horseware veils work better for us, no seeds and the frame hasn’t changed, However we love our rugs from Leader and Horseware, I think Leader rugs fit better
Well I only had it on my mare for a week or so. Didn’t last long at all. She now has a Wild horse mask on now. I found them to be more robust than the LE Outback fly mask and last at least six months. It was a waste of money purchasing the LE Outback fly mask. I gave it a go but failed miserably.
This is the best fly veil I’ve ever purchased! It has excellent clearance around the eyes - which has always been a concern for me with other makes. It fits well - I have the large/full size for my heavy boned 16.1hh thoroughbred. He happily wears this and waits for me to put it on before he has his feed or goes for a roll!

I needed a good fly mask which gave clearance from Tooheys face while he is recovering from a fractured skull and major surgery to repair it. Keeping the flies of his face perfectly.

My horses never keep fly masks on for more that a day! Drives me crazy. I saw these on line and liked the look of them. They arrived so fast and was able to do payment on afterpay… yay! 3 out of the 4 still have them on 2 weeks later! So impressed. Love them. Have since ordered another 5.(have 24 horses here so getting through them all slowley) Can’t wait till they do mini sizes. Wish they made rugs in the same material. Durable, light and very fine mesh. Thank you for an amazing product!

Excellent quality and eye clearance. However if you have a horse with a fine head, buy down a size as they are a generous fit. Sit very well over hoods.

I love the design of this fly mask, it has so much more clearance around my horse's eyes so I worry a lot less about it potentially causing eye injuries by rubbing. The finer mesh is great too and really improves visibility which is important, I live in north QLD so my horse wears a fly mask 24/7 during the wet season. The fabric feels nice and soft to touch and the fit is also excellent, it's great that it has some stretch and two adjustable velcro straps. I have recommended this fly mask to all of my friends! (Would just love to see a hunter green version to match my other gear...☘️)
So comfy , my pony wears them all year round due to eye issues and I’ve been through dozens of types of, this is our favourite.. for future I Would love to see a Forelock hole added , our ponies all have massive forelocks , also a smaller size and smaller around jowl /nose but over all love it , hopefully they wear well .

My horses love them the fly masks are the best I've used as they don't touch their eyes, l have used with Round bales, hay bags and bale slow feeders and never had a problem, Perfect fit with lite air flow material for perfect comfort...

I love the comfortable, easily adjustable fit and the way the design holds the mesh away from my mares eyes, so hygienic and such an innovative design. The black mesh is ideal for clearer vision than any other colour mesh. Handwashes and dries easily. If you love your horse buy this product.
