Love these doona rugs on my mare. At about 17.2hh (maybe taller I refuse to measure her again after my farrier suggested she had grown - Iâm gaslighting myself into believing sheâs no bigger than 17.2hh) and last time we weighed she was over 800kg. Thus sheâs no featherweight. So finding rugs to fit her robust Rubenesque figure is somewhat difficult. They either donât go round her chest (clydie x warmblood) or look like a miniskirt. This one fits her chest and isnât like a mini skirt. I also like the 100g weight as itâs not too hot as she tends to run warm. With a full clip this rug under an unlined waterproof does her for winter. It feels luxurious and washes up well. I have two I rotate and wash now (one from a few seasons ago and this one I got recently). Highly recommend.
