The Amigo Foal Rug is an adjustable waterproof turnout rug suitable for foals from birth.

600D polyester waterproof and breathable outer.
Polyester lining with 200g fibrefill in rug.

Contoured belly arch and flap, snug fit to keep the foal warm and dry.
Suitable for foals from birth.
Unique adjustment system allows the rug to grow with your foal, rug can expand by 6" (15cm) in length.

This is second of this rug I have had, this one a bit smaller than the previous 5’0 which was a little too large on a 4-6 month foal. Fits snugly, and doesn’t move on an active foal. Easy to adapt.

This rug was recommended to me by a friend. It is the most perfect foal rug and has three modifications for fitting. I have a 12hh QH weanling and purchased the 4'6" and he is on the lowest fitting, plenty of room to get him through winter. Lovely and warm without overheating, waterproof in the recent heavy rain and does not slip. The belly band is an added training bonus when he is started, as he will be accustomed to things under him and on his entire belly. Love this rug and highly recommend. It will also be able to be used on the 11hh pony when the colt outgrows it—quality rug.

My three miniature horses only wear Leader Equine Rugs. This foal rug was purchased for my smallest mini as a stable rug. It is very difficult to buy rugs for her petite size as most sizes usually start around the 3'9" which is okay for her larger brothers. What I love was the fact it was adjustable to fit her shape perfectly. I also love the reflective strip which makes her visible at night when we check on her.
