We love this rug, it is the best bug rug we have purchased so far. Its lightweight coverage provides excellent protection against our humid, bug infested tropical conditions. The 6’9 fits my 16.3 mare perfectly.

I bought this rug to attempt to stop my horse being bitten by insects - or - coming into contact with something that has been causing itchy sores under his belly. The rug fits so nicely and, while it looks light and flimsy, it is handling being rubbed on out in the paddock and two big storms so far with no damage except for mud! The 6' size was true and I really like the quality fittings, particularly the thoughtful little tab for pulling up the Velcro fastenings. Overall, I highly recommend this rug for horses in hot climates because it's robust and breathes well.
